What We Did

Atomic delivered a comprehensive design transformation for the Royal Lymington Yacht Club, focusing on modernising their brand and enhancing user engagement. We began by revitalising the club’s logo and brand guidelines, followed by detailed user mapping through wireframes. Additionally, we conducted an in-depth competitor analysis of the top three clubs globally, ensuring that RLymYC’s offerings were uniquely positioned. Fresh UI designs and animations were then crafted, bringing a contemporary feel to the club’s digital presence. Finally, we meticulously developed these designs, ensuring a seamless, engaging user experience that would resonate with both current and prospective members.

The Challenge

Atomic tackled the challenge of revitalising the Royal Lymington Yacht Club’s brand and logo identity. The club required a fresh, modern look that preserved its esteemed 100-year history and association with HRH, ensuring that any changes were subtle and not disruptive to both new and existing members.

The Results

The Brand

Atomic refreshed the logo and brand guidelines with a modern font and updated colour palette while preserving the primary colours from the existing guidelines. Additionally, we separated the pole from the burgee and added a ripple effect. Although these changes were subtle, they gave the logo a contemporary new appearance.
